WRITING
Writing for kids is so much fun. I started with a board book for babies, sharing it with everyone who would listen. Much to my delight Beach Baby was featured on buses and trains. As a first-time children's author, it just doesn't get any better than that! As you can guess, I've been inspired to write more stories for children. Happily, Orca Book Publishers in Victoria, BC. is helping me bring these stories to many North American and international readers.
BEACH BABY

This little book for babies was quite a surprise. I sat in my car after a recent trip to Mayne Island and wrote down all the things I'd seen on the beach. Purple starfish, the waddling goose, and seals that peer out of the waves. I was so happy when Orca Book Publishers told me they liked it and wanted to publish it. FOREST BABY
If you love to walk through the parks and forest trails, I think you might like this book. It recalls a time when my friend and I covered many miles with her son, then a baby, tucked in a backpack.
