BABY BOARD BOOKS

We had such a great response to Beach Baby and Forest Baby, Orca Book Publishers added a new board book for babies called City Baby (May 2021). I live in a city and I see lots of babies peering out of strollers and baby carriers. I'm excited to highlight the beauty of living in a bustling city full of families with babies. BEACH BABY (Orca 2016)

Beach Baby is illustrated with the beautiful drawings of Elly MacKay. Purple starfish and waddling geese, sand castles and moon snails fill these pages. I hope you enjoy this board book for babies. It is inspired by the beaches all along the West Coast, from Vancouver Island to California.

FOREST BABY (Orca 2018)

This board book recalls a time when my friend and I covered many miles with a baby tucked in a backpack. Illustrations of trees, dragonflies and turtles are presented in warmly painted collages by Shantala Robinson. The rhythm of the words mimic the swing of our hips and the lift of our hiking boots.
